“My son is 10 and started at the Academy the beginning of the year as he was struggling with his confidence. He’s an active rugby player but at the time he was shying away from tackles and was scared of taking a hit. A few months at the Academy and he is sparring with peers with more experience than himself, older children and even adults showing a lot of heart and determination.
I believe this is down to the coaching and energy of the Academy, egos are left at the door, he is corrected but encouraged and shown every class is an opportunity to learn and develop as an individual with the backing of a whole team of people wanting him to succeed.
